Leonard is part of the International Funds Group at Simmons & Simmons.
He acts for asset managers in relation to the structuring and establishment of mid-market and large private equity funds, infrastructure funds, real estate funds and carried interest/co-investment arrangements. He also advises on primary and secondary transactions, regulatory issues (AIFM approval, AIFMD, PRIIPS, etc.) and corporate matters.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Leonard worked at Proskauer Rose in London and earned legal and business degrees in France and in the United States. While at Audencia Business School, he worked on the financial side of various industries including venture capital, aerospace, technology and entertainment.
Before completing an LL.M. at UC Berkeley School of Law where he was a member of the Blockchain at Berkeley Law Society, he also interned at the congressional staff of a representative at French parliament.
Leonard is qualified as an Attorney at Law in the state of New York and an Avocat à la Cour in Paris.
