Gabriel is a German qualified lawyer (Counsel) in the Frankfurt real estate & infrastructure team specialising in tenancy and property law as well as public law, covering environmental, planning and infrastructure law.
He advises banks, asset managers, project developers and institutional investors on all real property law and public law related aspects on the entire life cycle of real estate projects: From pre-examination of building sites in particular under aspects of zoning, building and environmental law and preliminary agreements, the drafting and negotiating of lease agreements development management and general contractor agreements all the way to handover/acceptance as well as advice regarding in rem real property related rights. Gabriel also advises on alternative arrangements to purchase and sale; such as forward structures and investor models.

His recent work includes:
- advising Panattoni Europe on a set of project developments of logistics warehouse in Germany for Amazon;
- advising AEW on the acquisition of an office building complex in Munich;
- advising a pan-European private equity investor with respect to asset management topics pertaining to their wind farm portfolios, including advice on several of the first wind farm repowering projects in Germany;
- advising international strategic investors/operating businesses with respect to the development of new laboratory and R&D buildings in Germany (industry sectors: automotive, pharmaceutical); and
- providing specialist input to corporate M&A transactions (in particular to due diligence and respective SPA clauses) under aspects of real estate, environmental law and permits.
Gabriel studied law at the University of Mainz and as part of the Magister Iuris (Mag. iur.) at the University of Glasgow.
