Jayne is a partner in the international disputes department. Jayne has over 20 years’ experience in advising clients in international arbitration, litigation and mediation. Jayne has primarily been involved in complex high-value contract disputes in the technology and telecoms sectors. Jayne heads up the firm’s Tech Disputes practise.

Jayne has acted in a number of the most high profile matters in the English Courts and before arbitral tribunals, including HP/Autonomy V Lynch & Hussain and Nomihold Securities Inc v Mobile Telesystems Finance SA for which Jayne and the team were highly commended in the FT Innovative Lawyer Awards. Jayne has particular expertise in multi-jurisdictional disputes and parallel proceedings. She has advised in arbitrations before many of the major institutions, as well as investment treaty arbitrations, and has significant experience in enforcement proceedings.

In addition, Jayne also handles high stakes procurement challenges for her clients, and has advised clients involved in several of the challenges identified in The Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases over the last few years, including the challenges brought against the Met Office, and the Gambling Commission.

Jayne is described in Chambers as "particularly outstanding", "dedicated" and "very bright" and in Legal 500 as "a star in the making" and "giving fantastic service".

Jayne has a degree in English literature from Cambridge University. She regularly publishes articles and delivers webinars on developments in international arbitration, procurement law, and technology disputes. Jayne co-authored the England and Wales Chapter in The Technology Disputes Law Review, edition 1 (2021), and has been awarded an Executive Certificate in Computer Science for Lawyers from Harvard Law School.
