Edward is a partner in the Financial Markets group in Singapore, where he has been based since 2016. He advises leading international investment banks, asset managers and other financial institutions on structured products and OTC derivatives across APAC, with a particular focus on cross border transactions, balance sheet management and capital optimisation strategies.
Edward has extensive experience in structured transactions across asset classes including rates, credit and equity. He regularly acts on the establishment and maintenance of both on and off balance sheet structured note and repackaging platforms, and on bespoke, high value mandates involving complex cross border structuring, regulatory capital considerations and funding optimisation.
Edward joined Simmons & Simmons from a major UK banking group, bringing valuable in house experience to his practice.
