Simmons’ AI tool Percy wins FT AI innovation award
Percy AI, the generative AI tool developed by Simmons & Simmons, has been named the winner in the innovation in AI category at the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards
We’ve had a team working in Shanghai, China’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, since 1995. Our Shanghai office is one of four Simmons & Simmons offices in China – the others in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
Over the years, we’ve established ourselves as one of the leading international law firms in Shanghai, particularly in the areas of employment and benefits. We’re known for our investigations capability and, across Asia, our dispute resolution practice which both sit alongside our employment practice and link seamlessly with it. We also routinely advise multinational corporations with significant operations in China on a wide range of compliance issues.
Chinese regulations allow us to advise clients on the impact of Chinese law and to provide a range of other services. We have established good relationships with local law firms and we work closely with them to issue formal legal opinions when required.
Our Shanghai team promotes the values of our firm in China by working on a pro bono basis with Oxfam, the global confederation of charities fighting poverty, on employment-related matters across its Chinese branches.
