Employment Rights Act 2025 — a short video series
What’s changing, when is it coming into force, and what employers should do next
Our international employment team is renowned for its wide range of expertise. Through our global network, we deliver cutting-edge legal advice.
We have a strong reputation for defending very challenging and potentially reputation-damaging claims in both labour (Employment Tribunal in the UK) and civil courts. A number of our clients reserve their most sensitive and complex cases for us.
The team is well known for the way we approach managing employment litigation risk. We encourage our clients to take a more people-centered, rather than ‘legalistic’, approach and to reappraise the factors they take into account in managing situations that are only potentially litigious. We guide clients to ensure that the right agenda is pursued for the particular case, whether fighting to trial or resolution (often through mediation).
We’ve advised international and high-profile organisations from investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds, to pharmaceutical companies and major media organisations. We advise on high-profile and sensitive cross border projects and disputes, strategic remuneration regulation, whistleblowing claims and more.
We acted for a multinational telecommunication services company on the defence and successful resolution of a whistleblowing, unfair dismissal and detriment claim in the Employment Tribunal involving complex privilege, bonus and misrepresentation issues.
Advising a major investment bank on a multi-million pound high profile maternity and sex discrimination case. The matter was particularly complicated by the fact that the individual was a current employee.
Investigation into sensitive allegations of sexual misconduct of senior employee of a global asset manager.
