On 2 July 2025 the FCA published CP 25/18 (Tackling non-financial misconduct in financial services) which includes: (1) some final rules applicable to non-bank SMCR firms, (2) draft Handbook Guidance relating to non-financial misconduct which the FCA is consulting on (applicable to all SMCR firms), and (3) details of the original 2023 proposals that have been dropped by the FCA.
