We continued our tradition of exploring cutting-edge digital innovations. This year, we focussed on the transformative journey of Artificial Intelligence, examining its shift from revolutionary beginnings to its evolving role in shaping the future.
We were honoured to host, amongst others, the following guest speakers:
- Evelyn Graß, Head of Division VIA2 – Artificial Intelligence Division at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and Vice Chair of OECD Working Party AI Governance, who will give a status update on “Germany’s national implementation of the EU AI Act”

Status Update: Germany‘s national implementation of the EU AI Act
While the EU AI Act sets out harmonized rules across the EU, Member States retain certain responsibilities for enforcement and implementation aspects. This session provides an up-to-date overview ofthe German government’s draft legislation to implement the EU AI Act, including supervisory structures, national enforcement strategy and the interplay with existing regulatory frameworks – drilling down on various sectors (e.g. financial sector).
