Investors from the Middle East, attracted by the stable returns and growth potential, have been active in the Dutch real estate market, focusing on both direct investments in properties and indirect investments through real estate investments funds. The real estate market in Europe has been dynamic, with trends influenced by economic policies, demographic shifts, and investor sentiment. Focusing on the Netherlands, the country presents a robust real estate investment landscape, characterized by a strong demand for residential and commercial properties. This demand is driven by urbanization, a growing economy, and a stable political environment, making it an attractive destination for investors, particularly from the Middle East. In our sessions we will discuss all this more in depth, also touching on the different sectors residential, logistics, retail, offices, light industrial, hospitality and datacentres. We will also discuss the latest developments in the real estate market and answer any questions.

We will then turn to investment opportunities in the financial sector. The landscape of the financial services sector in the Netherlands is undergoing significant transformations, shaped by a series of strategic movements, commercial opportunism, and consolidation. For example, two major Dutch banks are poised to transition from state ownership. Furthermore, the Netherlands boasts an attractive fintech, payments and crypto sector and is quickly becoming a favoured EU hub for crypto firms. We will discuss the regulatory process for acquiring stakes in the Dutch financial sector.
