UK’s temporary permission regime

Are you an EEA firm who is currently availing of the temporary permission offered by the FCA/PRA to carry on business in the UK?

24 June 2021

Event

Join us to explore the key issues facing EEA firms looking to exit the UK’s temporary permission regime (TPR).

During the session we'll cover:

  • whether firms should apply for authorisation as a branch or a subsidiary;
  • what the PRA / FCA authorisation process involves, including timing and cost considerations; and
  • the ongoing requirements for firms to consider.

We are aware that the PRA and FCA have already started communicating landing slots to some firms and we are supporting a number of clients through the internal decision making stage and formal application process.

In advance of the webinar, we wanted to share some high level thoughts on key issues that we are seeing raised by EU firms with UK operations. We will explore some of these issues in more detail during the session. Please do feel free to circulate the summary to your colleagues.

We will also run a separate session for those firms with funds in the FCA’s Temporary Marketing Permission Regime and will be in touch in due course with further details.
