International law firm Simmons & Simmons has successfully acted for the defendant, Princess Aljawharah Bint Ibrahim Abdulaziz Alibrahim, in the Asturion Foundation v Alibrahim case.

The case, which concerned competing claims over a multi-million pound north London property in The Bishops Avenue, involved challenging and complex issues of English property and trusts law and conflicts of laws, as well as of Liechtenstein, Swiss and Shari’a Law.

The high-profile case has been named as one of the ‘Top 20 Cases of 2023’ by The Lawyer.
