International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised ArchiMed on the sale of SuanNutra, Suanfarma’s nutraceutical ingredients business – focusing on health-enhancing food-derived products.
ArchiMed is a private equity firm specialising in investments in the healthcare sector. Since ArchiMed’s acquisition of Suanfarma in 2021, SuanNutra has grown into a globally recognised leader in the nutraceutical ingredients sector. The transformation of SuanNatra to a standalone business underscores ArchiMed’s innovative approach to building market leaders.
The Simmons & Simmons team advising ArchiMed was led by corporate partner Ignacio Domínguez, Partner and Head of PE/M&A in Spain, who coordinated a cross-border team in Spain, UK, US and Malaysia. He was assisted by corporate associates Rocío Rincón and Javier del Álamo, HLS regulatory supervising associate Natalia Valle, tax partner Juan Sosa Pons-Sorolla and tax supervising associate Juan Manuel Cocho, employment of counsel Jesús Gimeno and supported by a team of associates.
