International law firm Simmons & Simmons has today announced the expansion of its Financial Markets practice in Italy, with the arrival of partner Franco Gialloreti, counsel Tommaso Zanirato, and supervising associate Giorgio Peli, who all join from the Milan office of an international law firm.
Franco Gialloreti brings significant experience in both the Italian and international markets. He advises leading banks and financial institutions, export credit agencies, private debt and private equity funds, as well as corporates, on financing transactions, financial debt restructuring, and equity reorganisation.
In recent years, Franco has focused on leveraged buy-out transactions, with financing provided by banks and private debt funds, supporting acquisitions in sectors such as manufacturing, IT software, food & beverage, both in Italy and cross-border, with a focus on multi-jurisdictional mandates.
Tommaso Zanirato brings extensive experience in advising leading Italian and international banks, financial institutions, private equity and private debt funds, as well as corporates. He specialises in complex leveraged buy-out transactions, both domestic and cross-border primarily involving credit funds as lenders.
Giorgio Peli specialises in banking and finance law, having gained significant experience in leveraged buy-out transactions, both domestic and cross-border, involving banks and financial institutions.
