International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised private equity firm Southfield Capital (Southfield) on its investment into Metric Search, a leading provider of global talent solution services with a strategic focus on the life sciences, engineering and data centre sectors.
Founded in 2019, Metric Search has established itself as a trusted partner for companies around the world from start-ups to blue-chip companies, providing a suite of recruitment and executive search services that support clients throughout their development in finding top-tier talent for critical roles. The firm supports organisations across the US (in New York, San Diego, Austin and Fort Lauderdale) as well as in a number of major cities in the UK.
Southfield is a US-based private equity firm with a strong track record of supporting ambitious, high-growth businesses in the life sciences and infrastructure industries.
Southfield's partnering with Metric Search, is set to accelerate its growth strategy, further developing its platform and service offerings.
The Simmons & Simmons team advising Southfield worked with Finn Dixon & Herling LLP on the US aspects and was led on the UK aspects by Corporate Partners Gemma Phillips supported by Arthur Stewart, with tax advice from Helen Coward (Partner).
