Simmons advises Quantexa on the acquisition of Aylien

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Quantexa on its acquisition of award-winning, Aylien.

London-based Quantexa, a global leader in decision intelligence solutions for the public and private sectors, has acquired Aylien. Based in Dublin with a 30-plus team, Aylien is a leader in natural language processing and advanced AI to empower its customers to collect, analyse, and understand unstructured text data.

Quantexa is a global data and analytics software company pioneering contextual decision intelligence that empowers organizations to make trusted operational decisions by making data meaningful. This acquisition marks Quantexa’s first acquisition since the company raised $153 million in late 2021 from Warburg Pincus and a group of blue-chip investors and accelerates the next phase of Quantexa’s business growth strategy to provide enhanced value to existing customers and create offerings for adjacent markets in the decision intelligence space.

The cross-border Simmons team was led by Corporate partner David Brangam with assistance from Christine Quigley, Geoff Curran and Martin Phelan in Dublin and Angus McLean and Tom Wales in London.
