The Paris office of international law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Providom, a subsidiary of Paul Hartmann SAS, a leading group in the healthcare, hygiene, and medical care sectors, on the sale of its business. Providom specialised in home care services for individuals experiencing a loss of autonomy. The business was sold to Altévya Médical, a newly established company created to take over the Providom network, founded by professionals from the sector and members of the Providom network.
The acquisition by Altévya Médical is intended to ensure the continuity and stability of the Providom network and to support its further development under a new brand, “Providom by Althévya Médical”, with a continued focus on placing members at the centre of decision-making.
The multidisciplinary team assisting Providom was led by Jérôme Patenotte, Partner, supported by Savina Jouan, Counsel, and Karim Abdelgawad, on corporate matters, as well as Ombline Ancelin, Partner, and Florent Barbu, Counsel, on competition and distribution law matters.
