Simmons & Simmons’ Managing Partner Emily Monastiriotis and UK Country Head Penny Miller have today been named in Financial News’ 50 Most Influential Lawyers 2025 list.
The prestigious list celebrates outstanding leaders in management roles at top-tier law firms and practices.
Financial News notes how both Emily and Penny have made significant contributions to the firm over several years through their respective leadership roles in international disputes and financial services regulatory.
Their inclusion in the latest 2025 list follows their recent appointments to new senior roles. Emily Monastiriotis was elected Managing Partner and took up the role from 1 May 2025, succeeding Jeremy Hoyland.
Penny Miller took up the position of UK Country Head – a new role created at the firm – on the same day.
