International law firm Simmons & Simmons has successfully advised Realterm, a leading global investment manager in the field of transport oriented logistics infrastructure, on the acquisition of the Hermesstraße 1 property in Friedewald, Germany. The transaction marks Realterm’s first investment in Germany and represents an important milestone in the company’s ongoing European expansion.
Hermesstraße 1 is a strategically located industrial outdoor storage facility in a key German logistics corridor. With this acquisition, Realterm secures an important entry point to the German market for IOS assets. At the same time, the transaction reflects the growing demand for flexible, well connected logistics space in Europe and highlights the increasing institutional interest in specialiszed logistics infrastructures such as IOS and High Flow Through (HFT) properties.
