On 05 April 2018, the FCA published a Policy Statement (PS18/8) which implements the first set of remedies in respect of the Asset Management Market Study. Summary note: Policy Statement (PS18/8)

We have produced a summary note which provides high level guidance on the FCA’s Policy Statement (PS18/8). This note is designed to provide your teams with a “cheat sheet” of the main regulatory changes, the new COLL rules and the implementation timelines.

Consultation Paper (CP18/9)

The FCA’s Consultation Paper (CP18/9) proposes a number of changes in respect of the information provided to investors on fund objectives and the use of benchmarks. The deadline for responses is 05 July 2018. Simmons & Simmons will be submitting a response to the Consultation Paper.
