Arijan is an associate in the Dispute Resolution group in Amsterdam.
The team represents clients across various industry sectors in all stages of domestic and international arbitration and litigation. This includes proceedings before institutions such as the NAI, ICC, NCC, the Arbitration Board for the Building Industry, and the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
His work includes assisting with commercial disputes arising out of a variety of agreements, such as joint venture, shareholder, post-M&A, licensing, distribution, technology transfer and construction agreements. He is also involved in matters relating to corporate governance, including disputes concerning the contractual and statutory obligations of shareholders and board members, as well as distressed intracompany relations.
In addition, Arijan has experience with insolvency-related matters, including disputes involving directors’ liability and other issues arising in the context of bankruptcy.
He is fluent in Dutch, English and Persian.
