Lauren is an associate in the Derivatives & Trading team based in London and acts for the buy-side of the market including hedge funds, institutional managers and sovereign wealth funds. Lauren advises on the technical documentation and regulation that applies to trading derivatives.
Lauren’s experience includes:
- reviewing and negotiating the full spectrum of derivative and trading documentation (including prime brokerage, clearing, custody, variation margin and initial margin documentation);
- assisting with managing trading documentation for several large-scale fund launches;
- preparing prime brokerage and custody disclosures for fund offering documentation;
- advising clients in relation to their regulatory obligations; and
- assisting with large scale projects involving the full suite of initial margin documentation for several hedge funds.
Lauren completed her training contract at Simmons & Simmons following which she qualified into the Derivatives & Trading team.
