Aoife is a supervising associate in our Real Estate team in Dublin with experience in all aspects of commercial real estate. She previously trained and worked for a top tier Irish law firm where she also spent time on secondment with the in-house real estate team of a global technology company.
Aoife’s expertise includes:
- advising on the lender and borrower side in property financing transactions;
- acting for both landlords and tenants in negotiating commercial leases;
- acting for both vendors and purchasers in high value asset sales; and
- advising on the real estate aspects of M&A corporate deals (including multi-jurisdictional cross border M&A deals).
Aoife has a particular interest in the healthcare sector and she recently advised a European REIT operating in Ireland on a portfolio of forward funding nursing home development transactions with a value of approximately €300 million. She has also advised on the acquisition of a portfolio of assisted living facility centres as well as for both purchasers and vendors of primary health care centres.
