Gayna has diverse experience in transactional work, mainly banking and finance work. She regularly represents local banks, international banks, financial institutions and borrowers in a variety of financing structures.
Gayna has a keen interest in complex cross-border syndicated lending transactions. She specialises in corporate loans, ship financing, asset financing, funds financing and project financing. In addition to lending transactions, Gayna is also experienced in and provides advice on trade finance and secondary debt trading and loan distribution transactions.
Gayna was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2015. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, she practiced at a leading Singapore law firm in the Corporate Shipping and Finance team.
Gayna has been recognised as one of the ALB Asia Rising Stars Singapore 2025 in the July issue of Asian Legal Business. This recognition is a testament to her consistent delivery of exceptional legal work, which has earned the respect and trust of both peers and clients alike.
