Infrastructure

A strong reputation in the market for working on high profile and complex infrastructure projects across the world, including frontier jurisdictions.

We count industry players, sponsors, financial institutions and funds, governments, regulators, and contractors as clients. We work across Aerospace and Defence, Ports, and Airports, Railways, Roads, Social Infrastructure, Waste and Water sectors.

We align ourselves to the complete lifecycle of the infrastructure project - from due diligence, bid evaluation and feasibility studies, planning, regulatory, investor structuring, project development and implementation, financing, contract negotiations and capacity building to restructuring, refinancing, and realising the value of the asset.

We understand the balance of interests between the private sector stakeholders (including the shareholders of the project company, and the funders) and those of the public sector and have a particular understanding of the way in which funds and institutional money invests in infrastructure and is regulated.

We’ve created a collaborative and agile network of lawyers who match local needs with the delivery of a global service - working on international projects means we understand the regional and local, political, legal and economic issues to support our clients.

Our core services include:

  • Construction
  • Disputes
  • Islamic financing
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Project development (both greenfield and brownfield)
  • Project financing
  • Regulatory matters
