Network Rail

Advising Network Rail on numerous major projects including the £6bn West Coast Mainline PPP; the Kings Cross Transport Hub Infrastructure project; the East London Line project; Sunderland Metro; major station developments and the £3bn Thameslink project.

Sale by Network Rail

Advising a major real estate investor on the sale by Network Rail of the whole of its non-core commercial property estate comprising 5,500 properties around railways many of which are used by commercial retail tenants.

ORR market investigation

Advising Cubic, the only major supplier of automatic ticket gates in the UK to TfL and TOCs, in the ORR’s market study into automatic ticket gate and ticket machine supply in the UK. This was one of the first ORR market investigations in a number of years and Cubic was a central focus of the inquiry.
