OBBB: Impact on Asset Managers & Financial Institutions Webinar

On 22 May 2025, the U.S. House of Representatives narrowly passed the "One, Big, Beautiful Bill” (OBBB), moving forward proposals for significant changes to US tax laws. More recently, on 16 June 2025, the Senate Finance Committee released its version of the bill. To explore these developments, on 18 June 2025, we co-hosted a webinar with Seward & Kissel.

The session focused on business tax considerations that are particularly relevant for clients in the Asset Management & Investment Funds sector, as well as Financial Institutions, including for those without a direct US presence.

We provided an overview of key implications of the OBBB, and the procedural and other steps required for this to become law.
