We are excited to announce the second instalment of our quarterly webinar series tailored specifically for lawyers working in-house with data centre operators and developers. This session focused on the EU AI Act. We explored the practical implications of the EU AI Act for data centre developers (including the specific risk that they could be subject to the “high-risk AI” regime under the Act, which attracts significant obligations), and how you can proactively prepare for its implications. We also addressed an important requirement in the Act for organisations to ensure their staff are AI literate from February 2025.

It took place on Wednesday 9 October at 9am (BST).

Our webinars aimed to bridge the gap between general legal education and the specific needs of the data centre industry by addressing:

  • What is it?
  • Why is it relevant to the data centre sector?
  • How can you best prepare your business for it?

Gain practical insights that will enable you to add significant value to your organization. To foster an open and collaborative environment, these sessions will not be recorded, encouraging attendees to share their experiences and challenges.
