Flash call: COVID-19 BI coverage disputes: the Stonegate litigation

The Court has now handed down its much anticipated judgments in Stonegate Pub Company v MS Amlin, Greggs PLC v Zurich Insurance PLC, and Various Eateries Trading Ltd v Allianz. The decisions deal with novel aspects of aggregation, causation of losses across multiple lockdowns and whether insurers are entitled to offset governmental financial support against indemnity payments.
