International law firm Simmons & Simmons has strengthened its Asia M&A practice with the hire of experienced partner Michelle Phang in Singapore, who joins as Head of M&A, South East Asia.
Michelle joins the firm as an established M&A practitioner with over 20 years’ experience leading multi-jurisdictional transactions involving Singapore, ASEAN, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan and other key Asian markets. Her practice spans corporates, strategic investors, and funds with expertise in multiple sectors, including energy and infrastructure, digital economy, and healthcare sectors.
Michelle’s arrival enhances the firm’s M&A capabilities in Asia’s dynamic landscape, supporting growth in key sectors and bringing expertise in complex, cross-border transactions. She will work closely with the existing team to develop cross-border opportunities and further support clients in the region.
Michelle is dual-qualified in Singapore and England & Wales.
