Simmons & Simmons backs Law Beats Cancer

Simmons & Simmons has announced its support for Law Beats Cancer, a new, sector wide collaboration between the legal profession and Cancer Research UK

Launched at an event this week at The Francis Crick Institute in London, Law Beats Cancer brings together law firms, barristers’ chambers, in house legal teams, clients and students to raise funds and awareness for life saving cancer research.

The initiative will focus on thought leadership, networking, challenges and other events designed to build a long term community across the legal sector and channel its collective influence towards the common cause – supporting the work of Cancer Research UK, which aims to help people live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

Supporter firms also include BCLP, Cleary Gottlieb, CMS, Dentons, Freshfields, Geldards, Higgs, Lewis Silkin, Linklaters, Norton Rose Fulbright, RPC, Quinn Emanuel, Taylor Emmet and Thomson Snell & Passmore, as well as Harvey AI – with other firms in the processing of joining.
