International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised RH, the NYSE-listed global luxury home furnishings brand, on the development and opening of its flagship UK Gallery at Burlington Gardens in Mayfair, London.
The project, comprising three Grade II-listed buildings and representing an investment of approximately £200 million, marks RH’s first London location and a key milestone in its European expansion.
Simmons & Simmons advised RH on all legal aspects of its London launch, including construction, real estate, incentives, digital business and intellectual property.
A cross-disciplinary team spanning ENRIC, Real Estate, Intellectual Property and Digital Business is also supporting RH on the development and operation of its Galleries in Paris, Milan, Düsseldorf, Brussels and Madrid, with Simmons & Simmons acting as sole legal adviser to RH for all UK and European matters.
The Simmons & Simmons team was led by Partner and non-contentious construction specialist Duncan Athol.
