International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised the directors of landmark West Midlands shopping destination Merry Hill on its sale to Redical.
Simmons & Simmons acted for the Merry Hill seller entities, led by Directors Miles Dunnett and Russell Downs, on the sale of the 1.5 million sq ft shopping centre – with the transaction marking the culmination of a multi year transformation of one of the UK’s leading retail destinations.
The buyer, Redical, is a specialist urban retail owner operator with a portfolio of core UK retail and leisure destinations.
A multidisciplinary Simmons & Simmons team involving the firm’s Banking team, led by Partner James Taylor, and its Corporate team, led by Partner Isabella Roberts, advised the Merry Hill sellers on this significant transaction.
