This is the most recent venture between advanced 3D printing systems leader Nano Dimension and sensor specialist Hensoldt, following an earlier collaboration in 2019 where the two companies partnered to develop high-performance electronics components.
In this joint venture, the two companies will work together on cutting edge technology in the area of printed electronics and additively manufactured electronics.
The Simmons team was led by corporate partner Dr. Stephan Ulrich, closely supported by the firm’s Israel lead, Ariel Nachman. The full Simmons team included counsel Slaven Kovacevic (Corporate M&A), Isabella Schmidt (Associate, Corporate M&A), Martin Gramsch (Counsel, FDI/Antitrust), Sven Lombard (Associate, Antitrust) and Eva Heinrichs (Employment). Tamir Chagal from Sullivan & Worcester, Tel-Aviv, Israel, was the Israel lead counsel on the transaction.
Commenting on the deal, Stephan Ulrich said: “The latest joint venture between Nano Dimension and Hensoldt is a testament to the ambition of both companies to be at the forefront of new technological developments. This deal is another example of Simmons’ strength in working on cross border technology deals thanks to the expertise of our country leads, like Ariel Nachman for Israel.”
