Simmons advised Coalesce Automation, an American start-up specialising in data management and analysis, in its acquisition of Castor Doc.

The Paris office of international law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Coalesce Automation, a US start-up backed by private equity funds and specialising in data management, analysis, and transformation, in its acquisition of Castor Doc, a French company offering innovative solutions for enterprise data discovery, enhancement, and governance.

Through this acquisition, Coalesce is expanding its data transformation platform by incorporating CastorDoc's solution, which provides dynamic metadata management and AI-assisted features. This solution is as Coalesce Catalog and will continue to offer Coalesce's clients democratised access to data and integrated governance in the early stages of data development.

The multidisciplinary team from Simmons that supported Coalesce Automation was led by Partner Jérôme Patenotte, with Savina Jouan and Karim Abdelgawad handling corporate matters. The team also included:
