International law firm Simmons & Simmons has strengthened its Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) offering in the Netherlands with the appointment of Barbara Mutsaers as HLS Industry Lead.
Barbara brings deep experience advising national and international pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, medtech and food companies on complex regulatory, commercial and contentious matters.
She is a highly ranked, multi-award-winning senior lawyer in the sector, with expertise spanning market access, product compliance and safety, advertising and promotion, regulatory investigations, enforcement disputes, strategic commercial contracts and complex commercial disputes.
Joining the firm as Of Counsel, her appointment as HLS Industry Lead will further strengthen the firm’s HLS capabilities in the Netherlands and across the wider Benelux region, supporting clients as they navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and commercial landscape.
