Global Managing Partner of international law firm Simmons & Simmons, Emily Monastiriotis has been included in Financial News’ “100 Most Influential Women in European Finance” list.
The list recognises prominent leaders in sectors including law, asset management, hedge funds, wealth management, investment banking and financial regulation.
The publication also places particular emphasis on those leaders who are supporting the next generation of women in the industry.
Emily is one of 25 new entrants this year, following her appointment as Global Managing Partner in May 2025. In recognising Emily and her leadership, Financial News notes her three key priorities in her role at Simmons: clients, people and technology.
The inclusion in the list follows the inclusion in June 2025 of Emily Monastiriotis and Simmons’ UK Country Head Penny Miller in Financial News’ 50 Most Influential Lawyers 2025 list.
