With the arrival of these three patent law specialists to complement the existing team of lawyers and attorneys, the international Intellectual Property team will also be able to conduct a full-fledged practice from the Netherlands, covering all fields of technology from hi-tech to mechanics and life sciences. In doing so, the agents will also be part of the team handling litigation, both in national courts and in the new Unified Patent Court (UPC) .
Paula will become ultimately responsible for all know-how, processes, registrations and formalities of the Amsterdam prosecution team. Diptanil specialises in telecommunications, signal processing, and network technology and, together with Sebastien Versaevel, will mainly focus on clients within the TMT sector. Atze has a background in biotech and will mainly focus on clients in the life sciences sector within the practice of Johan Renes and Xingye Huang.

Paula obtained a master's degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Barcelona. She also achieved her bachelor's degree in History at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has also obtained various courses and certifications as a patent administrator. Prior to this, Paula worked as Head Formalities at Patent Office Los & Stigter and was senior patent paralegal at Dolby International.
Diptanil obtained his PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology in the field of Wireless Communication. He was previously employed at NLO for 6 years and before that he was a researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology for six years.
Atze obtained his Master of Science (MSc), Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from the University of Groningen. Before this, he worked at Deloitte as a Consultant Global Investment & Innovation Incentives.
