Düsseldorf, 23rd September 2021 – Simmons & Simmons has advised US headquartered Mitratech on the acquisition of Alyne Group including its operations in the US, Australia and UK. Closing is subject to customary approvals. The deal was completed by the German and UK offices led by corporate partner Stephan Ulrich with the support of corporate supervising associate Sabine Krause and corporate associate Michael Surmann.
The deal underlines Simmons & Simmons’ expertise in the RegTech space. Alyne was one of the early pioneers in the European RegTech sector, alongside several of Simmons & Simmons’ other leading RegTech clients. The deal highlights Simmons & Simmons’ position as the market leader in advising RegTech firms and those seeking to collaborate with them.
