Svetlana is a transfer pricing specialist with over two decades of experience in transfer pricing, spanning the “Big 4” professional services firms and multinationals. Her extensive in-house experience has involved leading complex, multi-jurisdictional, cross-functional restructuring projects, including the transfer and valuation of intangible assets, operating within evolving regulatory and legislative frameworks, mitigating global tax compliance risks, and resolving tax disputes, including multi-party advance pricing agreements. This has provided her with a deep understanding of value chains and commercial drivers as well as operational transfer pricing for the implementation of transfer pricing policies within complex multinational organisations.
Svetlana’s experience offers clients a pragmatic and compliant approach to the design, implementation, and monitoring of transfer pricing policies. She is an economist and is adept at applying her knowledge and experience to the accounting, legal and tax requirements of the organisations she is supporting, while balancing the nuances of the industry, jurisdictions and regulatory constraints they are subject to. She has also recently focused on understanding the impact of sustainable business models, resilient supply chains and their overall role in addressing the global challenge of the environmental crisis.
Prior to joining Simmons in 2025, Svetlana spent nine years in “Big 4” professional services firms in Sydney, Australia and in London, followed by sixteen years of senior in-house roles within large multinationals, particularly in the financial services and TMT sectors. She served as the Chief Impact Officer at Women@Tech, leading initiatives to advance gender equity within the tech sector, working with leading multinational technology companies to influence women's representation, development, and progression.
