Jurisdiction – the “Brexit transition period gap”

We are delighted to announce the launch of the CRD6 Manager tool which is available for subscription to support your team with the upcoming implementation of CRD6 across the EEA Member States.
This Manager covers the changes brought in by Directive (EU) 2024/1619 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2024 (CRD6) amending Directive 2013/36/EU (CRDIV) as regards supervisory powers, sanctions and environmental, social and governance risks.
This Manager does not cover the new CRD6 Article 21c requirements for non-EU banks and non-EU large investment firms doing core banking business (and other non-EU entities that are deposit taking) in the EU to set up a licensed branch in an EU member state, and associated Articles 47, 48, 48a-48r and 4(1)(1b); these are covered by CRD6 Manager Lite.
This Manager does not cover changes brought in by Regulation (EU) 2024/1623 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2024 amending Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (CRR) as regards requirements for credit risk, credit valuation adjustment risk, operational risk, market risk and the output floor.
This Manager assumes that the user is an EU bank, EU large investment firm or third country branch of a non-EU bank or non-EU large investment firm (as defined in the Manager) carrying out one or more of the activities subject to mutual recognition under Annex I of CRD6.
The Manager covers local transposition and gold-plating in Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Spain only.
The Manager is updated on a monthly basis.
In addition to The Manager, we are also offering a Manager Lite version which covers the new regulatory and supervisory framework for non-EU banks and non-EU large investment firms doing core banking business in the EU (and other non-EU entities that are deposit taking), requiring them to establish a licensed branch in an EU member state under new Article 21c, supplemented by Articles 47, 48, 48a-48r and 4(1)(1b) of Directive (EU) 2024/1619 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2024 (CRD6).
This Manager does not cover the other changes brought in by CRD6 as regards supervisory powers, sanctions and environmental, social and governance risks; these are covered by our full CRD6 Manager service.
This Manager does not cover changes brought in by Regulation (EU) 2024/1623 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2024 amending Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (CRR) as regards requirements for credit risk, credit valuation adjustment risk, operational risk, market risk and the output floor.
