Our international equity capital markets (ECM) practice, operating across our 20 offices worldwide, is capable of executing a wide range of ECM transactions, ranging from large and complex transactions on international markets to smaller domestic transactions. Our ECM specialists, some of whom have spent time working at investment banks, advise on a full range of UK, US and domestic securities laws in relation to all types of equity and equity-linked transactions. These include IPOs, secondary offerings, block trades, global depositary receipt (GDR) offerings and convertible and exchangeable bond issues.
We also have recognised expertise in structuring, launching and listing investment funds across a broad client base.
Our US securities practice regularly advises on international equity offerings, with a particular focus on Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings.
As of July 2009 Bloomberg ranked Simmons & Simmons joint fourth in Europe by deal count for advising underwriters on secondary offerings.
