He specialises in major transactions advising Government bodies, stock exchanges, financial institutions, companies and management on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, public and private equity, fundraisings and securities regulation.
Significant other transactions have included advising Inbev on the simultaneous acquisition of the brewing divisions of Bass and Whitbread (£2.3bn), Wal-Mart on its acquisition of Asda (£6.7bn), OFGEM on the restructuring and demerger of British Gas (£13bn), PCCW on its acquisition of Hong Kong Telecom (£26bn), British Land on its securitisation of London’s Broadgate financial district (£1.1bn) and numerous IPO and Accelerated IPO mandates.
Tim is named as a leading lawyer for international corporate matters, is regularly published and lectures internationally to the business community and law professionals on corporate law and securities regulation.
