We have had a presence in Italy since 1993 with offices in Rome and Milan. In recent years Simmons & Simmons has become established as a leading law firm in the Italian market. Our Rome office has 61 legal staff including nine partners.
Our Italian practice combines both Italian and UK qualified legal staff. We offer a full range of legal services and have a depth of experience across industry sectors, with particular expertise in the energy and infrastructure, financial institutions, life sciences and TMT sectors. We have a strong domestic and international client base in the business, finance and public sectors.
We work closely with our international network of offices, bringing together 1,500 people, including 900 legal staff worldwide. Our clients benefit from a leading Italian practice with in-depth knowledge of the local market which is able to draw on the resources and skills of an integrated network.
