Sociedade Rebelo de Sousa in association with Simmons & Simmons is one of the largest and most highly respected legal practices in Portugal, with offices in Lisbon and Funchal (Madeira) and a team of over 80 legal staff. It operates in association with Andreia Lima Carneiro & Associados in Oporto.

2001 saw the beginning of an association with Veirano Advogados (a Brazilian law firm with approximately 200 legal professionals in six cities in Brazil), extending the associated network to Latin America, and in particular Brazil.
