Pharmaceutical team accolade

Simmons & Simmons has been named ‘Pharmaceutical Law Team of the Year (Worldwide)’ in the WORLD Leaders International IP Awards 2009. The awards are run by Informa, publisher of Trade Mark World, Patent World and Copyright World.  

The team was also Highly Commended in the Private Practice Patent Excellence/Litigation (EMEA) category and London IP partner, Kevin Mooney was shortlisted in the Lifetime Achievement Award (Worldwide).  These categories are particularly important as they were based on a public vote.

Simmons & Simmons international IP group has recently received significant accolades, particularly in advising the life sciences sector. The firm was awarded winner of the  Europe - Life Science Award in the Managing IP Global Awards 2009 and ‘Best Law Firm in Qatar for IP legal work 2009’ at the Corporate INTL ‘International Legal Awards for Practice Excellence.’
