Our Facilities team is responsible for a wide range of areas, including building services, health & safety, security, office and client-facing services.

The Finance function establishes policies and controls to protect the firm's assets; provides management information, analysis and support to develop the business; processes bills and payments; handles client monies, and pays staff and partners in compliance with local regulatory and statutory requirements.
Human Resources
Our people define us: we believe that we must attract, develop and retain top talent to be successful. Our Human Resources department forms an essential part of this vision. It provides operational and strategic support so the firm leads the way in talent management, employee relations, reward, resourcing and learning & development.
Information Services
Our team of dedicated Information Services professionals manages the firm’s legal and business information resources including both printed and online material. They also work closely with lawyers to assist with legal research and support various business development initiatives.
Information Technology
Our IT department is committed to providing high quality systems and solutions which allow us to deliver a first class service to our clients. This department is responsible for the global IT function and centrally provided services, including the international telephony network and our Document Production Centre.
Marketing & Business Development
Our Marketing & Business Development team helps to develop and implement the firm’s business development strategy and firmwide business development initiatives, such as our sector and client programmes.
Professional Support Officers/Assistants and Paralegals
Our Professional Support Lawyers (PSLs) manage the knowhow needs of their practices. Our PSLs are supported by Professional Support Officers and Professional Support Assistants, who assist with the production of standards, precedents and guidance notes. The firm also employs paralegals who assist the qualified lawyers in their legal work.
Our Risk and Compliance function provides regulatory advice and wider support to lawyers and business services members on a wide range of risk issues affecting the firm. In addition, the Conflicts Team manages conflict check requests, and ensures that the firm complies with its anti-money laundering requirements and sanctions obligations, for new clients and matters.
Each legal department has its own secretarial team who provides wide ranging support to fee earners including: client liaison, diary arrangement and document management. Our secretaries are vital to our ability to deliver a first class service to our clients.
