Maha has experience advising international clients on a range of corporate matters, including incorporation of companies in Qatar, employment, mergers and acquisitions and providing general corporate and corporate governance advice.

- Organising Committee for the Handball World Championship 2015 on advising on a variety of legal issues and preparation of contracts with various suppliers in relation to the Championship
- Qatar National Bank in relation to the annual update of its EMTN Programme and issuances thereunder
- the Commercial Bank Q.S.C. in relation to its euro commercial paper and certificates of deposit programme.
Maha is based in Doha and is a supervising associate in the corporate and commercial department of Simmons & Simmons. Maha grew up in Qatar and attended local schools where she learnt to speak Arabic fluently. She studied law at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and subsequently completed an LLM in International Commercial Law. Maha initially joined Simmons & Simmons as a paralegal in May 2011 in Doha. Maha went on to complete her training contract with Simmons & Simmons across the London and Doha offices. Maha is fluent in Arabic, Farsi and English.
