Rachel has extensive experience of wholesale and public offers of securities involving on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet structures. Rachel has worked on the establishment and maintenance of many issuance programmes including repackaging and exchange traded products platforms, often focusing on adaptations due to regulatory change. Rachel has extensive experience of cross-border public offers and listings across a broad range of product types. In addition, Rachel is the manager of the dedicated debt listing team in the capital markets group in London.
Rachel is part of the Simmons & Simmons Capital Markets Union (CMU) working group, with a particular focus on upcoming amendments to the Prospectus Directive. For more information on CMU, please see elexica.com.
Rachel is a co-author of the debt securities chapter of the publication “A Practitioner's Guide to the Regulation of Investment Banking” (3rd Edition).

Rachel joined Simmons & Simmons as a trainee in 2001 and qualified as a solicitor in the capital markets group in 2003. Rachel was seconded to the global markets team of a major investment bank for a year and has also been seconded to a client specialising in the provision of data to the financial markets.
