Rachel is the manager of the dedicated debt listing team in the capital markets group in London. Rachel specialises in the Prospectus Directive and listing aspects of public offers and wholesale debt and structured finance transactions, principally acting for major international investment banks in Europe and in Asia. Rachel has extensive experience of cross-border public offers and listings across a broad range of product types. Rachel also regularly advises market participants on their continuing obligations under stock exchange rules, the Market Abuse Directive and the Transparency Directive.
Rachel is also involved in Simmons & Simmons navigator and the Simmons & Simmons Capital Markets Union (CMU) working group, showcased on elexica.com.
Rachel is a co-author of the debt securities chapter of the publication “A Practitioner's Guide to the Regulation of Investment Banking” (3rd Edition)
Prior to becoming manager of the listing team, Rachel acted on a wide range of debt capital markets and structured finance transactions.

- advising a number of major investment banks on the offering and dual-listing of repackaged retail structured products
- managing the listing of various types of securities on the London, Luxembourg, Irish, Vienna and Cayman Islands Stock Exchanges.
Rachel joined Simmons & Simmons as a trainee in 2001 and qualified as a solicitor in the capital markets group in 2003. Rachel was seconded to the global markets team of a major investment bank for a year and has also been seconded to a client specialising in the provision of data to the financial markets.
