Niamh has extensive experience in the structuring and establishment of Irish regulated funds pursuing various strategies. She advises promoters and asset managers on all types of Irish domiciled UCITS and AIFs aimed at retail and sophisticated investors. She also advises money market fund ranges in respect of ongoing regulatory requirements including in respect of the implications of the European Money Market Funds Regulation. Niamh also advises promoters on the establishment of Irish property funds as well as lenders to such funds.
Niamh advises Irish service providers such as AIFMs, UCITS management companies, administrators and depositaries on their operations in Ireland and their regulatory obligations such as corporate governance, capital and anti-money laundering requirements. She also has extensive experience in advising on passporting applications made by UCITS management companies and AIFMs including the establishment of branches. Niamh also advises prime brokers and non-Irish AIFMs on the implications of contracting with Irish regulated funds.
Niamh has served on several industry committees over many years and spoken at numerous investment funds and regulatory conferences.

Niamh qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2000 and joined the Asset Management and Investments Funds team of a leading domestic law firm. She became partner at that firm in 2010 and head of its London office in 2014.
