May has extensive experience in advising clients on regulatory compliance, commercial bribery, conflict of interest, employee misconduct investigation, collective disputes and crisis management matters. She works closely with overseas lawyers in advising on issues relating to cross-border compliance, employment and commercial disputes for multinational companies and Chinese companies.
May is a partner in our Asia Employment Group. She is based in Shanghai and she has practiced law in China for more than 15 years. She frequently provides advice to clients in the area of regulatory compliance, corporate investigation and crisis management issues. May works closely with overseas lawyers for companies operating in multi-jurisdictions regarding cross-border compliance issues, including without limitation to, conducting investigation, dealing with whistle-blower reports, establishing and localizing compliance system for the clients, providing compliances trainings and etc.
May joined Simmons & Simmons in 2017 and prior that that, she worked in a leading domestic law firm for more than 12 years. She has been a member of the Standing Committee of Labour and Employment of the National Bar Association for more than 10 years.
